Through a chance meeting between senior Kara Denike and best selling author David Ebershoff, Janet Neyer's AP English had a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a personal Google Hangout with Mr. Ebershoff.
Mr. Ebershoff shared his journey towards becoming an author, the inspiration behind his award winning book and movie The Danish Girl. He also spoke to the controversy surrounding the story and how, as an author, "it would've been worse to have not tried than trying and failing" at writing this story.
He then went on to answer student questions on tips for writing and the importance of writing every day, "whether it is 10 minutes or 40 minutes... The most important thing is remaining steady in your writing."
