CAPS elementary schools March is Reading Month theme is: Reading is Out of this World. (A space theme)
National Reading Month provides opportunities to explore reading in whole new ways aimed at motivating students to read while having a bit of fun in the process. In Michigan, schools all over the state plan literacy-related activities for what we call "March Is Reading Month.
Each elementary school is setting reading goals for students with rewards and celebrations for meeting the reading goals.
Every Friday students will celebrate reading and have some fun with reading.
On the schedule: Pajama Day, Dress like an Alien Day, Wear you favorite sports team day, Crazy Hat/Space Helmet Day
