Cadillac Orchestra's first trip to NYC was a big success. We got the chance to perform at Eastern Michigan University on the way to New York. The performance was a valuable one and feedback was provided to improve our group. In NYC we were on the Today show, toured Rockefeller Plaza, Radio City Music Hall, the Empire State Building, the Lincoln Center, Chinatown, and the 9-11 memorial. We also attended a New York Philharmonic performance of Mahler's 6th symphony and saw Les Miserables on Broadway. The trip took place over the President's Day weekend and was funded by the students, private donation and fundraising by the Orchestra. Kara is a CHS choir student that participated.
