Cadillac's homecoming celebration gained national media attention as the weekend included the Alumni celebration of the 40th Anniversary of KISS in Cadillac.
Homecoming in Cadillac this year was unique as it marked the Anniversary, to the day, that the band KISS visited the small town of Cadillac Michigan. Our tiny town and schools have gained national notoriety with the event. Viking Pride was everywhere throughout the Homecoming Festivities.

Cadillac High School staff and students put their hearts into an amazing schedule of events.
Chef Manager, Goldie Beebe, reflects on the homecoming tailgate party at CHS.
Chartwells Dining Services started the CHS lunch tailgate party in 2013 and it has become a Chartwells/CAPS tradition. High School students and staff alike anticipate the excitement of the Homecoming Tailgate Party each year and as weather permits, we take it all outside. The homecoming lunch was held outside in the parking lot this year and featured; you guessed it – KISS music and special guests. Our staff looks forward to celebrating homecoming with the students by preparing and serving the special lunch that includes grilled hotdogs and burgers, along with potato salad, baked beans and, of course, their favorite Root Beer floats. Prizes including gift cards, dance and game tickets, and Sports Boosters items are given away with a ticket drawing. This year Chartwells gave away two concert tickets to one lucky person. There was a special drawing for students that painted their face in the KISS 40th Anniversary tradition. We had a great time celebrating the KISS 40th Anniversary Homecoming with the students.
